Viktor has more than two decades of experience in professional hockey. He began with the New York Rangers in public relations and went on to serve in several roles during his 22-year tenure, including Director of Scouting with responsibility for professional and amateur scouting.
Viktor is an NHLPA Certified Agent and a subscribed agent with the Professional Hockey Players’ Association.
Joakim Karlsson is a Swedish-born hockey coach, player development specialist, and hockey advisor with Innovative Hockey Consultants.
With experience in youth hockey, player development, and leadership, he is passionate about helping athletes reach their full potential both on and off the ice.
Originally from Köping, Sweden, Joakim brings an international perspective to the game and is committed to developing well-rounded players through skill development, hockey IQ, accountability, and character. His approach focuses on building strong relationships with players and families while providing guidance that supports both athletic and personal growth.
Through his work with Innovative Hockey Consultants, Joakim assists players in navigating their hockey journey and achieving their goals at the junior, collegiate, and professional levels.
Jake joined Innovative Hockey Consultants in January 2023. Previously, he led hockey research for the Fordham Sports Analytics Society, where he developed player-analysis models and scouted draft prospects.
His responsibilities include contract analysis, hockey research, and identifying marketing opportunities for IHC clients.
