Founded in August 2021, Innovative Hockey Consultants provides a wealth of experience at the amateur and professional levels. We pride ourselves on creating personal and family-style relationships with our players while building a foundational structure based on our clients’ goals and paths to achievement. We use our experience and expertise to create value and identify optimal routes to achieve our clients’ full potential. Our services include contract negotiation, marketing/endorsements, family advisory, virtual video analysis, specialized training, and nutrition programs.

Viktor Saljanin is the Founder & CEO of Innovative Hockey Consultants. With over two decades of experience in professional hockey in a variety of roles, Viktor’s knowledge and insight provides a unique perspective into the game that benefits his clients. Viktor began his career in hockey as an intern with the New York Rangers in the team’s public relations department. He went on to hold a variety of roles over a span of 22 years with the Rangers organization, including Director of Scouting Information, where he was responsible for all matters relating to professional and amateur scouting. Following his distinguished tenure with the Rangers, Viktor served as the Head of Hockey Operations with PNY Sports for two years. Viktor is an NHLPA Certified Agent and a subscribed agent with the Professional Hockey Players’ Association (PHPA).

Jake Deutsch began his career as an Intern at Innovative Hockey Consultants in January of 2023. Previously, he was the Head of Hockey Research for the Fordham Sports Analytics Society, where he developed player analysis models and scouted upcoming draft prospects. His current responsibilities include contract analysis and researching marketing opportunities.
